Fire Warden Training
This course provides participants with a greater awareness and understanding of the threat posed by Fire, their personal responsibility in preventing a Fire occurring and the action to be taken should a Fire occur.
Course Objectives:
- Confidence in carrying out your Fire Safety responsibilities
- A greater awareness of the hazards of Fire
- An understanding of the nature of Fire and how it can spread
- Knowledge of the threat Fire poses to persons and property
- An understanding as to why Fire procedures are implemented
- The ability to distinguish between different types of Fire Extinguishers.
Fire Safety (eLearning)
This eLearning session meets the Statutory and Mandatory training requirements and learning outceoms for Fire Safety Level 1 in the UK Core Skills Training Framework (UK CSTF)
Course Objectives:
- Define the characteristics of fire, smoke and toxic fumes
- Identify the main fire hazards in your work environment
- Describe the actions required when discovering a fire in your work environment, including how to raise the alarm, action on alarm, evacuation procedures and associated escape routes
- Describe basic fire safety and fire safety protocols, including staff responsibilities
- Identify the types of fire extinguishers used in different situations
- Explain how to practise and promote fire prevention

To participate in the Fire Warden training, you will need to complete the Fire Safety Level 1 eLearning.
