Smoking Cessation Plus Medication Training
This course is mandatory for all clinical Inpatient staff including HCA’s. This training will enable staff to confidently raise the issue of smoking with inpatients, complete the SystmOne “Smoking and Vaping Template” and to offer smokers a variety of nicotine replacement products or an e-cig to use instead of smoking during their hospital stay. Designed to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to offer Very Brief Advice (VBA) in inpatients and supply them with Nicotine Replacement Treatment as per the Trust Smokefree Policy.
