Description
This half day course is for all health, social care and third sector staff who wish to develop their understanding of supervision and maximise the effectiveness of the supervision they receive. It is suitable for all staff who are supervisees and is particularly helpful for those new to supervision and/or those who are new to the Trust.
You will acquire the knowledge and skills to:
- Understand what it means to be a supervisee and the purpose and role of supervision
- Clarify your responsibilities within the supervision framework
- Develop your skills as a supervisee

Pre-requisites
Currently, or soon to be receiving supervision. We will be discussing general supervision principles applicable to any setting however we will touch on SABP's supervision policy, so please be aware this may differ from other organisations.
