Description
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship provides apprentices with higher level management skills, core competencies and desired behaviours to create leaders that can drive performance and productivity improvements in organisations.
A Chartered Manager is someone who can take responsibility for people, projects, operations and/or services to deliver long term organisational success, with the professional recognition of their ability to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate their commitment to continual learning and development.

Pre-requisites
To apply for this Apprenticeship you must be employed by the Trust or you may have applied to the Trust for position as an Apprentice. It is is important that your contract lasts for the duration of the Apprenticeship programme.
You must also have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to wishing to enrol in order to qualify for Apprenticeship Levy funding.
The Trust requires staff joining this programme to have the following qualifications before applying:
1. GCSE/O-Level English and Mathematics Grades A*-C or 9-4 OR
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths (also may be known as Key Skills Level 2 with English and Maths also known as Communication or Literacy, Number or Numeracy.
AND
2. Level 3 or equivalent qualification such as 2 A-Levels, or Level 3 NVQ or Level 3 BTEC Diploma.
3. Staff applying for this programme must be able to present copies of their qualification certificates to the Widening Participation Team and to the OU Admissions Team when submitting their applications.
