Description
A Business Administrator Apprenticeship is a career pathway into a job in business administration or other related business fields.
The role of a Business Administrator Apprentice can be incredibly diverse. From managing operational tasks within the office, to making sure that everything runs smoothly, you can perform a variety of key functions to the daily runnings of a team or division within the Trust.
The Business Administration Apprenticeship is the ideal first step for staff thinking about careers in a wide range of Trust services that include:
- Education
- Human Resources
- Finance and Accounting
- Secretarial
- Procurement
- Office Administration supporting Clinical or Non-Clincal Services

Pre-requisites
- To apply for this Apprenticeship you must be employed by the Trust or you may have applied to the Trust for position as an Apprentice. It is important that your contract lasts for the duration of the Apprenticeship programme.
- You must also have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to wishing to enrol in order to qualify for Apprenticeship Levy funding.
- As a requirement of the apprenticeship, employees wishing to enrol onto this programme will be asked to provide evidence that they have achieved a grade A* – C in English and maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).
- If you are unable to provide evidence, or evidence of an exemption, you will need to undertake functional skills training alongside your apprenticeship.
