Description
The Care Certificate forms part of the Induction process and sets out minimum standards of knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for working in the health and social sector. It is a nationally recognised Induction programme, endorsed by CQC. Its aim is to give every support worker training that gives them confidence that they have good understanding of the 15 standards of care, understanding of their role and its boundaries, as well options for further development going forward.
This introductory workshop provides an overview of the Care Certificate, and covers Standards 1 and 2 of the programme.

The Widening Participation Team will invite all new starters to attend the Care Certificiate via Line Managers.
If you would like to complete the Care Certificate, discuss with your Line Manager and contact the Widening Participation Team by emailing apprenticeships@sabp.nhs.uk
This course is free to all SABP staff.
This course is not available to non-SABP staff.
